Title: Hot Fudge Sauce #12
Categories: Dessert Sauce
Yield: 1 Servings

1/3cLight corn syrup
1/4cWater
3/4cSugar
1/4cCocoa powder
1tbUnsweetened chocolate,
  Chopped
2tbButter
1/3cHeavy cream

TO MAKE THE HOT FUDGE SAUCE: In a small saucepan, boil the corn syrup for 1 minute. Stir the water in slowly, making sure mixture doesn't spatter.

In a bowl, sift together the sugar and cocoa powder and stir into corn-syrup mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

Add the unsweetened chocolate and butter and whisk until melted. Add the cream and bring back to a boil. Remove from heat. Drizzle the sauce over slices of White Chocolate Buttermilk Pie (see recipe -- PIE.009)

Makes enough sauce for one 9-inch pie.
